Eunice Whitehead Rich, our beloved sweetheart, mother, grandmother, and\ngreat grandmother passed away peacefully on Jan. 11, 2006 at age eighty six.\n\n Eunice was born on July 19, 1919 in Lund Nevada to Rennie and Veda Whitehead.\nThe family including three sisters moved to Salt Lake City where Eunice attended\nMurray High School. She was married on March 10, 1938 to Orrian K. Rich by\nDavid O. McKay in the Salt Lake Temple. Eunice worked for many years as a nurse\nat the Tanner Clinic in Layton and the Budge Clinic in Logan. She loved doing\nhandywork and oil painting.\n\nEunice was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,\nserving in many leadership positions including missionary work with her husband\nin St. George. She was a temple worker in the St. George, Logan and Salt Lake temples.\n\nShe is survived by her Husband Orrian, two sons Kent and R. Dee, six grand\nChildren, 14 great grand children, and two of her sisters.\n\nFuneral Services will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at 11:00 am at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Prkwy (10600 So.). where friends and family may call Monday, January 16, 2006 from 6-8 pm and Tuesday one hour prior to the service. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
