“Loving Husband, Father and Opa”\nOn August 4, 2009, Harry peacefully left this earth to plant Heavenly Gardens and lead choirs of angels.\nHarry was Born 25 Nov 1922 in Aabenraa, Denmark. He met and married his life-long sweetheart Lotti Schredle 66 years ago in Germany and there created his family. They emigrated to the U. S. in January 1954 and settled in Salt Lake City, UT. For a time, Harry raised his family in Glendale, CA where he ran Glenoaks Floral with Lotti and later ran his own landscaping business. They returned to UT to retire, but Harry was always busy outside keeping the yard nice. \nHarry loved everything flowers and gardening. He was a master landscaper and Green Thumb. Hard work was Harry’s way of life and he loved it.\nHe is survived by his wife, Lotti; children Ernie (Pam) of TN, Hannah of AZ, Brent (Lin) of UT, daughter-in-law Dianne (Terry) of ID; grandchildren Lisa (John) Porria, Carmen (Jase) French, Tammy (Bruce) Blosil, Kip Christensen, Lauri (Gabe) Garcia, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters (Erika and Lisa), and several nieces and nephews.\nWe express our deep thanks to the dear friends and neighbors who have been Harry’s and Lotti’s helpers and family in their later years. You have been a blessing!\nFuneral services will be Saturday, 8 Aug 2009, 11:00 a.m. at the Hillside LDS ward, 435 E. 5600 S., Murray, UT. Interment follows at the Murray City Cemetery.\nViewing is Friday, 7 Aug 2009, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe, 4760 S. State St., Murray, UT and one hour prior to services on Saturday.
