Jack W Turner passed away June 18, 2010. Born November 11, 1940 in Bisbee, Arizona to James & Emma Turner. \n\nJack retired from Kennecott as a locomotive engineer. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. He died the way he lived.\n\nHe is survived by his wife Clara; his children Bruce (Lucinda), Roger (Virginia), Mike (Marie), Shirley Thurein (Martin); sisters Velma Johnson (Jerry), Vontrese Edwards (Bernard); brothers Earl and Joe Bob; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Douglas.\n\nFuneral Services will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 12:00 noon in the River 8th Ward Chapel 1239 West 10775 South, South Jordan. Viewing Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. So. Jordan Pkwy (10600 So.) and on Tuesday at the church 1 hour prior to services. Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery.
