Julia Alice Clayton was born September 15, 1961 to Robert Earl and Helen S. Clayton in Salt Lake City. She passed away at home October 14, 2018.\r\n\r\nJulia attended Olympus High School in Holladay, where she sang with the madrigal choir. She graduated from Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado. She studied law enforcement at Weber State College. After graduating from POST, she worked for the Utah Highway Patrol for 13 years. Julia’s career was in law, working as a paralegal, most recently with the Utah Attorney General’s office.\r\n\r\nJulia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was vivacious, friendly and outgoing. She was loved everywhere she went. She loved her family, her nieces and nephews, and her cats, who all brought her great joy.\r\n\r\nSurvived by her mother Helen S., sister Katheryn Rose, brothers James Robert (Alicia), Jeffery Nolan (Susie) and Robert Earl II (Susan), 36 nieces and nephews, as well as many dear lifelong friends. Preceded in death by her father Robert Earl Clayton, brother George David Clayton, daughter Helen Joy Loizos.\r\n\r\nThere will be a visiting time Sunday evening, October 21st, 2018 at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, Murray, Utah from 6:00 to 8:00 and Monday at the church from 9:30 to 10:45, prior to the funeral services. The funeral service will be held at the LDS ward house at 6410 South 725 East, Murray at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Murray City cemetery following the services.\r\n\r\nThe family wishes to express thanks to all for their expressions of love and comfort.
