“Loving Wife & Mother”\nOn April 26, 2007, Karen Gailey returned home to the arms of her Heavenly Father after her courageous battle with cancer. Karen was born on October 23, 1955 to Marilyn Harrison and Duane A. Fluckiger. Karen married Scott L. Gailey on July 8, 1975 in the Ogden Temple. They had three beautiful children, Heather, Jason Scott and Andrea. \nKaren was active in her church and was eager to serve. Her favorite callings were with the primary children. Karen loved to sing, scrapbook, and most of all spend time with her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.\nKaren is survived by her eternal companion of 31 years, Scott; her parents, Duane A. Fluckiger (Carol), and Marilyn Fluckiger; brother, Terry (Pam); sisters, Sherry Tegtmeier (Frank), Debi, Dayna Andus (Ron), Danielle Rindlisbacher (Shon), and Bridget Saunders (Josh). She is also survived by her children Heather and Jason (Amber) and her grandchildren, Parker, Shelbie and Gavin. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Andrea. \nIn lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Susan G. Friends and family are invited to the gathering Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy (10600 So), and from 11:00-11:45 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
