Kenneth William Moore returned to our Heavenly Father on July 10, 2018. He was born in Ogden, UT on October 13, 1940 to Stephen and Evelyn Moore. He served an LDS mission in Scotland from 1960 to 1962. He graduated from The University of Utah in 1966 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He married his Beloved Wife JoAnn Kimball Moore in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 24, 1966. They honeymooned in Lake Tahoe and moved to San Francisco shortly after the wedding, so Ken could start a job with Shell Oil. They had two children while living in San Francisco. The family moved to Houston in 1975 and lived there until 1996 when they were transferred to Fano, Italy for 2 years and then transferred again to Saudi Arabia for a year. They retired in Draper, Utah in 2000.\r\n\r\nKen enjoyed playing golf and anything to do with Apple computers. He loved spending time with his family. He had a strong testimony of the Gospel and served in many callings in the church, including Elders President Quorum and Counselor in the Bishopric.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife JoAnn, Son John (Lindsay), Daughter Anjanette (Jan Fictorie). Grandchildren Christopher, Joshua, Sarah, Parker, Karli and Luke. Brothers Doug (Linda) and Wayne (Eileen). Preceded in death by his Father Stephen Moore and Mother Evelyn.\r\n\r\nFuneral Services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:00AM in the Riverview 6th Ward at 288 River Chapel Rd, Draper UT 84020. A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home at 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy, South Jordan, UT 84095, and also Monday prior to the funeral from 10:00-10:45AM.
