Lois was born on a cool, crisp autumn morning to Razzie Bell Garner Tidwell and Clyde C. Tidwell Sr. in Pulaski, Tenn. Her 83 years on earth were spent loving her family and sharing joy and compassion with everyone she knew. All who met her would remember her smile and grace. She passed peacefully with all of her family members by her side.\n\nShe married the love of her life, Samuel Bang on September 28, 1946. They were sealed for eternity in the Manti Utah temple. Together they could do anything. Their love of each other, their children, and the gospel made their lives full.\n\nShe was a valiant member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served the Lord in many callings. \n\nShe is survived by her husband, Samuel Sr.; her sister, Barbara Campbell; her children, Samuel Bang Jr. (Cathy), Vicki Terry (Richard), Debbie Shumard, and Roger Bang. She had fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Clyde C. Tidwell Jr., and grandson Michael Bang. \n\nMom requested a private viewing for only family and close friends, this will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 9:30am with funeral services following at 11:00am at the River Ridge 7th Ward LDS Chapel, 10200 South 1300 West.
