Mario Anthony D’Amico passed away at home in Herriman, Utah on June 3, 2012. He was born in LA, California on February 12, 1930 to Joseph & Mildred Meeks D’Amico. Married Frances Cruz parents of four sons, later divorced. Currently married to Loretta McCourt Nordin D’Amico.\n\nMario loved to camp with family and friends. He never met anyone he didn’t like or have something in common with. Mario was an avid Enduro dirt bike racer. He won his last race at the age of 60. He was a kind and gentle soul who was loved by everyone.\n\nSurvived by wife Loretta, sons: Dan & Susan, Nick & Lisa, Dino & Debi, Duane & Lori, stepchildren: Ron & Lorri Frame, Marty & Karen Nordin, Clint & Heather Nordin, 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, siblings: Sister MaryAnn & Bob Plumb, brothers Gene & Joyce, and Toby & Judy.\n\nPreceded in death by parents, siblings: Bill, Betty & Bob and stepdaughter Rebecca Lewis.\n\nInurnment Thursday June 7, 2012 at 10:00 am at Midway City Cemetery prior to Memorial Service at 4:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy.(10600S) where friends and family may attend a visitation from 2:30-3:30 pm prior to the services.
