Martha Olga Foerster Coleman, 100, passed away March 31, 2013, in Sandy, Utah. She was born February 18, 1913 in Eschborn, Germany to Friedrich Wilhelm Foerster and Flora Olga Mauermann Foerster. Martha immigrated to Salt Lake City in January of 1939.\n\nShe married Walter Duain Coleman on May 3, 1945 in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Teasdale, Utah before moving to the Union/Midvale area in 1955.\n\nMartha was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings during her lifetime.\n\nShe is survived by her children, Janet (Leon) Perry, Jerald (Shirley) Coleman, and Thelma Burgon; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Otto H. Foerster.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Duain; daughter, Margaret; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters and four brothers.\n\nFuneral services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Union Park 2nd Ward, 7500 South 700 East, Midvale, Utah. A visitation will be held Friday, April 5, 2013, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. So. Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah; and on Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the Union Park 2nd Ward.
