Norma Jean Hatch Beck Emmons, age 59,having been born of goodly parents, peacefully returned home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday Jan 4th 2009 while recovering from blood clot surgery.\n\nNorma Jean was born on October 29th 1949 in Aurora, Utah to Hugh J. Hatch and Pearl Ardean Palmer. Both her parents preceded her in death along with her sister Helen Cole Liston Zombro, her two brothers LaRelle J. Hatch and Wallace Lamar Hatch, and her first husband Monte Beck. Norma is survived by her husband Ray Emmons, Her two sons Shane (Ann Marie) Beck and Jeremy (Jailyn ) Beck and two sister-in-laws Jackie Hatch and Marion Hatch. Her posterity includes seven grand children.\n\nNorma had a nursing degree and took wonderful care of both of her parents and her brother Wallace in their later years. Norma’s love of animals , gardening and upholstering was proof that a country farm life was her idea of a perfect way of life. She also loved working with people as a nurse and also as a cosmetologist and hair dresser. She also worked with people when she worked in the offices of Holy Cross Hospital. Norma lived in many different locations including Aurora, Alpine, Kuna Idaho, Riverton, West Jordan, Fountain Green, and Belin New Mexico.\n\nFuneral Services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 2:00pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) where friends and family may call Friday from 6-8 pm and 1 hour prior to the service. Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery.
