Obituary for Joseph John Baker

Joseph John Baker passed away December 31, 2017. Born January 31, 1932 to Peter Lawrence Baker and Anna Marie Wuerzinger. He was a proud Veteran of the Korean War. Dedicated instructor, he taught Electronics at SlC Community College for 29 years.

Grandpa touched so many lives with his kind and generous spirit. Always willing to help others without any thought for himself. He loved to vacation at Disneyland and provided his family with many treasured memories there. He is survived by a brother John Baker, sister Mary Jones, son Scott Baker, daughter Holly Cook, five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 2:30-4:30 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 S), South Jordan, Utah. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
