Obituary for Marge Yukie Nishikawa

Marge Nishikawa passed away on February 28, 2018 after a long illness. She was born on June 3, 1921 in Seattle, WA, to Yasusuke Kogita and Tamae Kogita. She was married to Harry Nishikawa for 50 years. She then married Ted Kruse in 1995 for 6 years; both preceded her in death.

She loved her two families and they meant everything to her. She was very talented and enjoyed painting, needlework and playing games with friends and family. Her paintings will be loved by many for years to come.

She is survived by her brother, Paul (Taka) Kogita; sister, Dorothy (George) Beagley; 5 children: Jerry, Connie Bean, Pat (Butch) Berger, Tami (Allan) Nibert, Mark; step-daughter, Carolyn Foreman; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters, and brother.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018, 11 am at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, Murray. Interment will be held at Redwood Memorial Cemetery; date to be determined.
