To watch this service, please click on the link below. \r\n\r\n Click HERE to view Funeral Services for Patricia Hunsaker\r\n\r\nPatricia Anne Gaffney Hunsaker (Patsy), our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on May 11th, 2021 at the age of 77 while at her home surrounded by the people that loved her. \r\n \r\nPatsy was born October 29, 1943, in Peekskill, New York to Sadie Moniz and Clifford Booth, but was shortly adopted by her loving parents, James and Mary Gaffney, and was raised in Irvington, New York. She loved growing up along the Hudson River and talked about it often.\r\n \r\nPatsy joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when she was 18 and remained a faithful member throughout her life. She served as a temple worker and organist. She had a deep love for music, genealogy, classic movies, and “I Love Lucy”.\r\n \r\nPatsy’s greatest love was her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She was supportive of all their talents and activities they were involved in. Her words of encouragement and support will be forever missed but not forgotten.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her children, Julie (Ernie) Chilvers of Warwick, RI., Travis (Melinda) Hunsaker of Garden City, UT., and Kristen Young of Murray, UT. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, Mike (Abby) Young, Tricia (Jason) Stuart, Joshua Young, Dalton and Brandon Taylor, Ethan Mullins, Ashley Cook, Seth and Alex Chilvers, MiKayla Karren, CamBree, AshLyn and KedRick Hunsaker; 8 great-grandchildren, Aiden and Phoebe Young, Zac, Kelsie, and Lindsey Stuart, Terra Young, River and Ce` Cook; her brother, Dr. Jim (Bunny) Gaffney of Bozeman, MT., sister-in-law, Gail Gaffney of Irvington, NY., and a half brother, Richard (Irene) Moniz of Ohio; as well as many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Anne (Houghton) Gaffney, and her brother, Jack Gaffney.\r\n \r\nA viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at 464 Germania Ave, Murray, Utah.\r\nA viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 from 10:00 – 10:45 am prior to the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 464 Germania Ave, Murray, Utah.\r\n\r\nFollowing the Funeral Service, family and friends will proceed to her final resting place located at Elysian Burial Gardens: 1075 E. 4580 S.
