Dugan, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, 75, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2012 at home in the loving care of his wife, Ann.He was born on September 28, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert James and Marjorie Dugan. His family spent their early years in Alaska before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1954. He attended Judge Memorial and West High School. He married his sweetheart, Annette Eldredge, on June 9, 1960.His expertise in the food service industry was evident by the numerous restaurants and businesses he helped design and operate. Some of his greatest accomplishments were Dugan’s Soup Kitchen and The Mushroom Company. He touched many lives through his restaurant consulting and entrepreneurial positions. It’s with great gratitude that the family thanks those who knew and worked with him.He is survived by his wife, Ann; daughters, Shannon (Rick) Nielsen, Shelly (Michael) Thompson; Andrea “Andie” Rasmussen; grandchildren, Ciara and Bret (Julia) Nielsen, Soren and Ian Rasmussen; and great-grandson, Wyatt Nielsen. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary (Dwain) Blain and Colleen Roth. He was preceded in death by his father; mother; and sister, Julia Ann.He loved cars - old and new, fast and slow. He loved Notre Dame football, golfing, camping, photography, skiing, boating, and traveling with his family. He accomplished much and touched many in his life.
