To watch the funeral service for Bob Grant, please click on the words "View Funeral Webcast" below. \r\n\r\nView Funeral Webcast\r\n\r\nRobert (Bob) Lynn Grant passed away August 25, 2020.\r\n\r\nBob was born October 3, 1944 in Brigham City, Utah to Ernest Artell Grant and Elva Etta Thomson. He was the fourth of their six children; LeRoy (Linda), Mike (Elke), David (Penny), Brent (Mary), and Mary Etta.\r\n\r\nHe served in the US Army 1964-1966 and the Army Reserve until 1969. He completed a tour of duty in Vietnam.\r\n\r\nMarried: Tamera Cottle: Children: Robert (Billie) and Shane (Coralyn). Stepchildren: Shelley, Kelley, Doug\r\nMarried: Joan Milano: Stepchildren: Margo, Terrie, Ed\r\nMarried: Catherine Hall: Stepchildren: Lael, Lisa, Robert\r\n\r\nBob became a Journeyman Electrician in 1974 working many years with Cache Valley Electric where he greatly enjoyed his associations. Following his retirement, he spent time in Arizona, Vernal, Roosevelt and Draper, Utah.\r\n\r\nHe loved being in the outdoors fishing, camping, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He was often found at the Cutter Races with his brother Dave and later enjoyed woodworking with his brother Mike.\r\n\r\nSurvived by brothers Mike and Dave, sister Mary Etta, children Robert and Shane, stepchildren, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.\r\n\r\nA public viewing will be held at 12:00 pm with funeral services following at 1:00pm Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy, South Jordan. Interment at the Utah Veterans Cemetery directly following.
