CLICK ON THE PLAY BUTTON BELOW JUST PRIOR TO START TIME.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRuth Bledsoe peacefully passed away September 2, 2009.\n\nShe was the third child born to Byron and Violet Rae Waldram on July 5, 1913, in Sugar City, Idaho.\n\nRuth graduated from BYU in 1935 with degrees in Homemaking and English. She returned to Sugar City, her Alma Mater to teach high school English, where she met and married Yale Bertie Holland on June 14, 1937 in the Salt Lake Temple.\n\nRuth and Yale raised five children in various areas of Idaho where Yale was an agronomist for amalgamated Sugar Company.\n\nHer passions were sewing, refinishing antiques, book clubs, building and decorating several beautiful homes in Idaho and Utah.\n\nRuth also enjoyed working closely with 4-H groups as a county agent and state fair judge.\n\nAs a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she served in many leadership capacities in Relief Society.\n\nAfter 55 years of marriage, Yale passed away in 1992.\n\nRuth married her second husband, Guy Bledsoe, June 6, 1995. She and Guy enjoyed many wonderful years together.\n\nShe is survived by husband Guy, five children, Jack W. Holland, Susan Taylor Holland, Kinne Marie (James) Kerschbaum, Steven Yale Holland and Margere Ruth (Clifford) Weiss. 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and brother, Hal, 2 sisters, Faye & Joan.\n\nRuth is preceded in death by first husband, Yale, brother, Lee; 4 sisters, Vanese, Marie, Gwen and LuDeen.\n\nFuneral Services will be held Saturday Sept. 5, 2009, 11:00 am at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley\n1007 W. So. Jordan Pkwy (10600 So.) where friends and family may call on Friday Sept. 4th from 6 -8 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 – 10:45 am prior to services.\nInterment Ogden City Cemetery.\n\nThe Holland and Bledsoe family would like to sincerely thank the Legacy House Staff and Sunbrook Hospice who served Ruth so lovingly.
