Sharon Kay Turnbow Dillon, age 68, returned home to her Heavenly Father on April 18, 2012. She was welcomed by many loved ones, including her loving husband, Boyd Alvin Dillon. Her last moments were spent with her family by her side.\n\nShe was born on August 27, 1943 in Murray, Utah to LaVerl and Reva Turnbow. She was raised in Orem and graduated from Orem High School in 1961.\n\nShe and Boyd were married on January 4, 1963 in the Manti LDS Temple. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings throughout her life.\n\nAll who knew her will remember her beautiful smile, bright blue eyes and kind, gentle spirit.\n\nSharon is survived by her six children: Judy (Randy) Lusk, Stacey Dillon, Ron (Cheri) Dillon, Brent (Jennifer) Dillon, Jim (Brandy) Dillon, Beckie (Mike) Coleman, 22 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Richard (Judy) Turnbow, Garry (Suzanne) Turnbow, and Diane (David) Ferre and a large extended family.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd, on October 23, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Judy and her in-laws, Leo and Emily Dillon.\n\nA viewing will be held Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway South Jordan, Utah 84095 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.\n\nFuneral services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Copperview 7th Ward Chapel, 12232 S. 3200 W., Riverton, Utah 84065. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.\n\nInterment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, Utah.\n\nHer family wishes to express their deep appreciation for all those who lovingly cared for her.
