Sharon Kay Worsley passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2020.\r\nBorn April 12, 1955 to Dick and Barbara Allred. She married the love of her life, Jerry Worsley, March 1, 1974.\r\n\r\nTo know Sharon was to feel absolute love and joy. She was everyone’s biggest cheerleader. She supported her kids in all the activities. Her children and grandchildren were her life and greatest joy.\r\n\r\nHer passion to travel was infectious and she often got everyone she could to come along with her on her big adventures. She traveled with friends and family, spoiling her grandchildren with trips to Disneyland, Disney world, and one of her favorite places, Discovery Cove in Florida.\r\nShe was a racecar junky, a passion she shared with her daddy. \r\nShe was very active in the Girl Scout community, as a great Girl Scout leader, and was known as the Girl Scout cookie lady. \r\nSharon knitted thousands of hats that she donated to all sorts of locations..\r\n\r\nWe love you so much mom!\r\n\r\nSharon is survived by her amazing husband Jerry, children Darrick (Genny) Worsley, Meera (Chad) Maxfield, grandchildren Payton, Stetson, Braxton, Preston, Chase, and Millie.\r\nShe is preceded in death by her father Dick, mother Barbara, and baby sister Bonnie.\r\n\r\nViewing for family and friends will be Wednesday, July 1st from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) Due to COVID-19, social distancing guidelines will be implemented and masks are required.\r\n\r\nGraveside services will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 2:15 p.m. at the South Jordan City Cemetery, 10655 South 1055 West.
