Shiloe “Bubba” Redmond

Shiloe, 44, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on February 11, 2022. Shiloe was born on August 22, 1977 in Murray, UT.

Shiloe enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his 3-wheeler, and shooting guns. At the young age of 8, he was in an auto accident that left him permanently in a wheelchair. Despite his new challenges, he continued to enjoy life. Shiloe was admired and adored by everyone that met him. He worked very hard and earned his Eagle Scout award. He also passed his hunter safety course and became quite a hunter. His family could always count on him to put meat in the freezer. Shiloe graduated from Bingham High School. He also went to South Valley School and graduated after four years. He then started working at South Valley Training Center and worked there until his passing.

Thank you to all the wonderful aides, staff at Shiloe's workplace, and countless people who have loved and cared for him over the years.

Shiloe is survived by his Stepdad, “Dad”, Bruce "J" Redmond, his sister and best friend, Lacie "J" Redmond, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and more friends than anyone can count. He is preceded in death by his Mom, Sherry Ann Cook Redmond, grandparents on both his Mom and Dad's sides.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy (10550 So.) with a viewing 1 hour prior to the services. Interment will be held at the Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Rd., West Jordan, immediately following the funeral.
