Todd Joseph Hasoppe, 41, put up a strong fight in this life, but lost his battle with brain cancer on July 13, 2010 at the West Valley Hospital in Avondale, AZ. Todd is now with his Dad, Manny Hasoppe, who passed away six weeks ago after losing his battle with lung cancer.Todd was born on June 12, 1969 to Manny and Carolyn Hasoppe in Salt Lake City, Utah. He grew up in West Jordan, UT and graduated from Valley High School in 1987. He married Michelle Russo they later divorced. Todd was passionate about his career he loved to work. In the beginning he managed Taco Time in Magna and Highland Dr., and Village Inn. In 1991 Village Inn transferred Todd to manage the Village Inn in Tempe AZ and later Sizzler. When Sizzler moved out of Arizona Todd worked in Sales for Weber Grills for Lowes. In the past few years Todd worked as a mortgage broker.Todd has always had a short temper but a huge heart. He loved being with his friends and helping others, he was one who would give you the shirt off his back. He loved people, especially the regulars that came into his restaurants just to see Todd.Todd also loved his dogs throughout the years!! Elizabeth Taylor, his Chihuahua, was his baby and he missed her every time he had to go spend time at the hospital. Todd also loved to talk on the phone! He would call several times a day just to say “hi” and to see what you were doing. He was a great friend to many. He thought the world of you all……. He will be missed by many.Todd is survived by his mother Carolyn Hasoppe, sister Stacy (Lyndon) Jones, nieces and nephews, Paislie, Holden, Jantzen, Brekker, and Ashby Jones, aunt, Andree (Nene) George, grandmother LaVell (Lee R) Jensen. Preceeded in death by his father, Manny Hasoppe, grandparents Joseph and Lea Hasoppe, Lorin Barnson and his dogs Chloe and Sadie.Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., Holladay Memorial Cemetery, 4670 S. Highland Dr. in Holladay.Contributions can be made in remembrance of Todd Hasoppe to the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
