Warren H Griffiths Obituary -\n\nOur father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather passed away peacefully in the only place he ever wanted to be, his home on June 30, 2022. Born on October 9th, 1943 in Salt Lake City to Alfred Warren and Lorraine Blanch Griffiths. He graduated from Cyprus High School where he met his future wife, Cheryl Miller, in 1961.\n\nSoon after graduation he enlisted in the United State Navy, coming home after boot camp to marry his high school sweetheart on October 19th, 1962. He served 20 years in the USN as a radioman and still, proudly, remembers Morse code. In that time he served on several ships beginning with the USS Bluebird and ending on the USS Acadia, of which he is a plank owner. By the time he retired in 1982 he had seen the world, became a Golden Shell back, lived on Midway Island, and assisted in operations during the Vietnam war. His most proud accomplishment was his marriage to Cheryl that lasted 40 years until her death in November of 2002.\n\nWarren is survived by his two daughters, Lisa and Tina; his son, Hal; along with four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.\n\nFuneral Services will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 4760 South State St., on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 1:00 pm, followed by a graveside service and interment at Valley View Memorial Park 4335 W 4100 S.
